Passive fire protection involves the fire-resistant materials and construction methods that compartmentalise a building to contain and slow the spread of fire. This includes fire-rated walls, floors, doors, and specialised seals around service penetrations, all designed to keep fire and smoke isolated to their source area. Inspection and testing programs keep these methods compliant.
Regular inspection and testing of fire safety systems is crucial to ensure that every component will function correctly in an emergency. Inspect and Test Services cover the routine servicing, checking, and certification of all fire protection equipment, from alarms, sprinkler pumps and fire panels to extinguishers, hoses, exit lights, fire doors and more.
Fire safety equipment installation covers the supply and fitting of essential fire-fighting tools throughout your premises. This includes portable fire extinguishers of the correct type for each hazard (dry chemical, CO₂, water, etc.), fire blankets in kitchens or laboratories, fire hose reels for larger coverage, and clearly visible fire safety signage.
Residential fire protection focuses on safeguarding homes, apartments, and residential complexes from fire, with an emphasis on early detection and safe evacuation. In domestic settings, the most critical components are smoke alarms and detectors, which alert occupants at the first sign of smoke, especially important during the night.
